	Since 1996 the Etobicoke Conservatory of Music has provided students professional, quality instruction to develop their own special and unique musical talent. We offer a wide range of programs for children and adults. ECM students excel in Royal Conservatory Examinations, music festivals, and entry into secondary schools of the arts as well as university/college music programs.				Our faculty consists of professional music educators who strive to create a true love of music that will last a lifetime.



	ECM is pleased to introduce Music for Early Childhood programs for the very young, 0 to 5 years old. Incorporating concepts from Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze Eurythmics, these classes encompass singing, movement to music, improvisation, playing percussion instruments and having fun! We are thrilled to have Early Childhood Music Director, Laura Ono, a passionate and committed music educator, join us.		Also new for the 2009 - 2010 season is the Children’s Chorus for ages 6 and up. Designed for the budding young vocalist, singers will learn healthy vocal technique, breathing and ear training and have opportunities for performances. Choral Director Lorienne Swales joins us with a wealth of experience training choirs and teaching private vocal lessons.
